Due to the SARS-CoV-2 a.k.a. COVID-19 virus we have taken the following precautions and have instituted the following changes to our office policies & procedures in order to protect the overall safety and to limit any potential exposer of our patients and the general public.
- As always, we will thoroughly wash our hands as well as disinfect all patient contact surfaces with a 10% chlorine solution and will obviously continue to do so.
- In addition, effective March 16th, 2020 for all contact with patients the doctor & staff will now be wearing medical gloves and will wear the appropriate N95/N100 masks to limit any potential exposer.
- The sign-in sheet will not be used to avoid patient to patient exposer from the public desk pen, as well as staggering all appointments so that patient to patient contact is at a minimum, and we will have a very limited call-in appointments available for any acute emergencies.
- We also ask that you please NOT come in until your ACTUAL APPOINTMENT TIME and please DO NOT bring any family members or friends with you, if they are not also coming in for care, unless it is absolutely necessary.
- If you are showing ANY SYMPTOMS please call the office as soon as possible to reschedule for after the recommended self-quarantine period of two weeks. (We also highly recommend you get tested for an official diagnosis & so that the NJDOH can track any possible presumptive cases.)
